This lesson provides a demonstration on how to deploy and configure the Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) Shared Services Cluster as part of the TKO Reference Architecture.
Each TKG instance can have only one Shared Services Cluster. The procedures for deploying a Shared Services Cluster and Workload Cluster are almost the same. A key difference is that you add the tanzu-services label to the Shared Services Cluster as its cluster role. This label identifies the Shared Services Cluster to the Management Cluster and Workload Clusters.
As part of this lesson the following steps are performed. You can navigate directly to any of these steps by using the chapter markers in the video. Clicking on the steps below will take you directly to the instructions for that step in the TKO Reference Architecture deployment guide:
- Provision Shared Services Cluster from TMC
- Validate Shared Services Cluster in NSX-T
- Validate Shared Services Cluster in NSX ALB
- Add cluster-role label to Shared Services Cluster
